Walid Al Shoaibi

Mr. Al Shoaibi is the Managing Director of the Shoaibi Group, Saudi Arabia. His responsibilities include the supervision of day-to-day Group activities. He also represents the Group on several boards (Saudi United Insurance Co. "Wala'a Insurance", Saudi Halliburton Logging, McDermott Arabia Limited, Kalaam Telecom Holdings & Chemical Development Company). Mr. Al-Shoaibi received his BS in Civil Engineering in 1984 from Rice University and his Master of Business Administration in 1987 from University of Houston. He is also the First Vice President Saudi Italian Business Council and a Member of the Industrial Committee of the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Employment History - After an internship at Brown & Root (Houston, Texas) as entry-level engineer on Texas highway designs from 1984 to 1985, he took up position as Cashier's Assistant and later as Credit Analyst at Houston National Bank between 1985 and 1987.
